TVS showcased the Jupiter CNG concept at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, grabbing huge attention from automobile enthusiasts. As per industry reports, the official launch will take place around mid-2026, making it the world’s first CNG scooter.

Dual-Fuel Technology

TVS has designed this scooter with bio-fuel technology, allowing it to run on both CNG and petrol. A small 2-litre petrol tank is placed under the floorboard, offering flexibility in case CNG is unavailable. The CNG filling nozzle and pressure gauge are located inside the under-seat storage, while the petrol filling cap remains on the front apron for convenience.

The upcoming TVS Jupiter CNG will be powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 7.1 bhp power and 9.4 Nm torque. The scooter is expected to offer a top speed of around 80 km/h, ensuring a balance between fuel efficiency and city performance.
