Mickey Guyton is embracing the holiday season with more joy than ever. The country star says becoming a mom has completely changed how she experiences Christmas — and she’s celebrating the renewed magic both at home and on the red carpet.

The singer, 42, shared that her 4-year-old son has brought back the excitement she felt as a child.
“Christmas has now started becoming magical for me again,” Mickey Guyton said, noting that the holidays feel more meaningful and less stressful with her son at the center of the celebration.
That renewed spirit inspired her new festive album, Feels Like Christmas, which focuses entirely on upbeat, joyful tracks. Guyton intentionally skipped the sadder holiday classics and instead leaned into fun originals like “Sugar Cookie” and a lively duet with music icon Michael Bolton.
“I just wanted to bring uplifting messages to people,” she said. “Christmas can remind you of loss, but I wanted this album to be pure joy.”
Family Traditions and Holiday Favorites
For Guyton, the holidays also mean gathering with family for their competitive “international cookout competition,” where everyone prepares a dish from a different country — and battles for a cash prize.
She also shared some of her go-to Christmas songs, including Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” and classics from A Charlie Brown Christmas and Whitney Houston’s The Preacher’s Wife soundtrack.

While celebrating the season at home, Mickey Guyton also turned heads at the 59th Annual CMA Awards. The singer stepped onto the Nashville red carpet in a dark denim statement outfit paired with sparkling bejeweled slingback pumps.
Her satin heels featured a crystal brooch and slim pointed toe, adding glamorous holiday shine. The look was completed with silver fringe detailing, simple drop earrings, and dainty rings.
Guyton’s stylish appearance came during a star-packed night hosted by Lainey Wilson, with the ceremony broadcast live on ABC from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
